Wyndham Trenython Manor

My husband and I visited at the end of January with our 16 month old little boy for 3 nights. Lovely warm welcome from receptionist. The hotel is a beautiful building, maintained to a high standard. Little dated in parts but adds to the charm. Lovely grounds. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Food is excellent - we had breakfast, lunch and dinner here at various times and could not fault it. Restaurant very welcoming with toddler - all the guests really friendly too - always a worry when going to nice places! Leisure facilities also immaculate. You have to book these which is a little frustrating but it was lovely and quiet when we went so a much more enjoyable experience. We stayed in the family suite. The room set up was perfect for children of this age. Our little boy could have his own bedroom for a travel cot. Would be great for older children as well. We visited when Storm Isha hit, but managed to venture to a few local destinations. All very scenic. We couldn't understand why it isn't a 4 star.

This hotel is the best in the area. The staff are friendly and welcoming. You feel like part of the family as soon as you walk through the door. The Da Kona restaurant is one to visit. A hidden gem with top-quality food in an exquisite dining food. Bedrooms are clean and comfortable, and there is a brilliant swimming pool. Super clean with wonderfully warm water. Everything about this hotel is top class.

Ideally located for going out on day trips...with lovely views. Beautiful building and rooms....Also spotlessly clean....in ALL areas I used....no mean feat on a building of this size and age. Food was lovely and great quality. Really enjoyed my stay...staff were (in the main) exceptionally helpful and friendly without being 'smarmy!! 😃. Would definitely recommend.

Its a perfect place for a get away from the city! We spent Christmas here it was lovely, great space for dogs lots of facilities to use such as pool&spa, gym and exploring nature. Definitely stay in a cabin/ lodge over a hotel room it is worth it! More space and better views All the staff working during Christmas and our stay were so lovely, very helpful and accommodating. Would I stay again? Yes Only one thing- the wifi is not very strong so if you work remotely maybe go into the hotel itself it could be stronger because in the lodges it wasn’t. Overall lovely stay!

Excellent place. Lovely views and ideal location to explore Cornwall. Rooms were clean with a wonderful view from our balcony. 2 restaurants with great choices of food. Very tasty and nothing too much trouble for the staff (Thank you Ash). Great cocktail menu and Gary the barman was superb. Great conversations, helpful and knowledgeable. All in all had a great week. We will be back.
